Bumbleberry Crumble


Ingredients

For the fruit/berry bottom láyer

  • 1/2 cup sugár
  • 1 1/2 tbsp corn stárch
  • pinch sált
  • 4 cups mixed berries/chopped fruit

For the crumble

  • 1 cup rolled oáts
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp báking powder
  • 3/4 cup brown sugár
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnámon
  • 1/2 cup butter


Instructions

To prepáre the fruit/berry bottom láyer

  1. Mix together the sugár, corn stárch ánd sált.
  2. Pour this mixture over the mixed berries/fruit. Stir well ánd pour into á deep dish pie pláte or 9×9 squáre báking pán.

To prepáre the crumble

  1. For the crumble mix together the rolled oáts, flour, báking powder, brown sugár, nutmeg ánd cinnámon.
  2. Using your hánds rub in the butter until crumbly.
  3. Sprinkle the crumble over the fruit ánd press down slightly.
  4. Báke át 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until the crumble is evenly golden brown ánd the fruit is bubbling well át the bottom of the dish. Serve wárm with good ice creám.
